NEGAUNEE -- The Seed Sowers presented their annual musical revival for the holidays and for a good cause.

This is the 16th Advent concert, entitled "Child of Hope," which also serves as a way to collect donations that go to families in need.

The choir, which is comprised of 29 volunteers, say the reason they participate in the concert is simple.

"We've been given the gift of musical ability and the desire to share it, and it doesn't seem right that we wouldn't use that gift in God's service and also to do good for the community," said Seed Sower member, Dave Williams.

The Seed Sower's next performance will be this Thursday night at St. John the Evangelist Church in Ishpeming at 7:30 p.m.
