MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Redmen hockey team is going to have quite a challenge on their hands later this month.
Monday, December 27, they will be going up against an alumni team, and the game will count in their season.
The reason for the game is because the team had a hole in their schedule and decided to fill it by taking on past Redmen players.
Tight now the Redmen hockey team is 3 and 0.
"We understood there was a lot of interest for guys wanting to come back and play. We thought, well, why not add another one, so we definitely are playing two games; there may be a third it. Depends," said Redmen Head Coach, Joe Papin.
The first Alumni vs. Alumni game will start at 5:45 p.m. at Lakeview Arena in Marquette, and the Redmen are scheduled to take the ice at 7 p.m.
