HOUGHTON -- A Grammy nominated ensemble is performing at the Rozsa Center in Houghton on Friday.

Cherryholmes is a bluegrass band that also uses the musical elements of Celtic and jazz.

Their unique sound is already well known in the U.P.

"They're really popular here; they're fantastic for the bluegrass lovers in the area because they are a family band, so it's appropriate for the family, and they play really great bluegrass music," said Rozsa Center Director, Susanna Brent.

Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $16 for students and can be purchased at the center's box office.

Friday's concert will also be the last day for anyone to bid on a Christmas tree for the Rozsa Center's auction event.  All proceeds benefit art programs for kids in the Keweenaw.
