MENOMINEE -- Update 5:33 p.m. EST
We have an update on the bomb threat at Menominee High School. According to the Menominee Police Department there is a suspect in custody.
A juvenile suspect was interviewed by the police about the bomb threat and she is currently being held in custody regarding the incident.
Two K-9 unites were called in to the scene, one from Escanaba Public Safety, the other from Brown County Sheriff's Department in Wisconsin.
All students have gone home and the school is being searched

A bomb threat was received at Menominee High School at 12:41 p.m. and is being investigated at this time.
All students and staff have been evacuated. Students at the high school building have been bused to Lincoln School for shelter.
Students from Central Elementary School have been sheltered and placed at Blesch School.
It is recommended that parents stay home, but if they feel they must be closer to the children, they are requested to go to the Menominee Airport. The children are safe.
