This is Canathon day. We'll have a preview of the show on the Early News...the Canathon show, complete with the number of pounds collected, will get started after an abbreviated TV6 News Tonight.
We'll have remote live shots during the show from Houghton, Iron Mountain, Escanaba, and Marquette.
Other news--Marquette Mountain opened today for skiers and snowboarders. That'll be on the Early News.
The "Nutrcracker" is coming to Marquette. Kelly Gibbs will have a preview, Up Close, on TV6 News Tonight, just before the Canathon.
A Paul Grant art book---"Portrait of a Peninsula"--will be unveiled this weekend. A sneak peek at it on the Early News.
Snow in parts of the U.P. today. Elsewhere, not so much. Karl Bohnak will have the complete picture on tonight's newscasts.
