A new U.P. business is drawing in people of all ages to work on their vocal chords
IRON MOUNTAIN -- Voice Works in Iron Mountain opened in September and specializes in singing lessons.
Owner Gail Vornkahl also runs a store complete with unique music sheets and books. She teaches students from ages twelve and up how to sing for all types of events.
"I've had everybody who wants to sing karaoke to singing in church choirs to singing in their school programs, solo and ensemble or just improving their voices just in general, so I've had folks of all different walks," says Vornkahl.
Voice Works is open Monday through Friday at 4 p.m. central and Saturday at 10 a.m. central.
