ISHPEMING -- "U.P. Power" is the catchphrase that Ishpeming High School football fans are using to motivate the team before this weekend's state final game.

There's been no shortage of school spirit this week as the team prepares for the game.

"Well, it's been very exciting here at Ishpeming High School with our football team being so successful and going to the state finals, and so we've been busy planning fan buses and pep assemblies and educating children as well in the midst of all this, but it's been very exciting," said Vicki Lempinen, Ishpeming High School Principal.

For any fans interested, there will be two charter buses leaving the high school Friday night at midnight and returning immediately following the game at Ford Field.  Cost including a ticket to the game is $63.

Interested fans can bring their money into the high school office before noon Wednesday.

No reservations will be accepted over the phone.
