Marquette Township crash

Police were called to a two car accident in Marquette Township Thursday night.

The accident happened just after 6 p.m..

The vehicles involved were travelling eastbound on US 41, when one vehicle rear ended another.

Only minor injuries were reported.

A 7-year-old boy bumped his head, but not seriously enough to be taken to the hospital.

Michigan State Police, Marquette Township Fire, and Marquette General EMS responded to the scene.
