MARQUETTE -- If you've been thinking about traveling outside the country, Wednesday was the perfect day to start planning your trip. That's because it was Passport Day at Northern Michigan University.
Both students and the community could make a one stop shop to the Learning Resource Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and get their photo taken and application processed for their passports.
"I think it's a good place to get your passport done here just because we have everybody in one location and so you come to one location instead of going to two or three different places around town," said Angela Maki of the NMU International Program.
Photos were provided by Marquette Wallpaper and Paint and application processing was provided by Peter White Library.
Both card and book passports were offered.
