A reception was held Sunday for the three honorees
MARQUETTE -- Last month, the Marquette General Foundation hosted a Founding Fathers Gala at the Up Front and Company, allowing staff to honor three physicians and their years of service to Marquette General Hospital.
And Sunday, the community got their opportunity to thank the doctors.
Doctors Dan Mazzuchi, John English, and Charles Wright dedicated years of visionary service to local medicine, and a reception was held at the west lobby of M.G.H. in their honor.
"Marquette General has come a long way from when these physicians started. When you look at it, I mean, we're in a community of 25,000 probably, and because of the work that these folks started and the way that it took off, we have, you know, over 200 different physicians in 65 different specialties that treat people from all over the U.P.," says Pat Bray of the Marquette General Foundation.
The reception was free and included light food and refreshments.
