ESCANABA -- It was pictures for a good cause at the Pet Place in Escanaba.
For close to $20, people were invited to bring their pets or families if you wished, to take pictures with Santa.
The volunteer event, through the Delta Area Animal Society, donated all of the proceeds to help fund a spay and neuter program for animals adopted from the Delta County Animal Complex.
Volunteers and photography by Jack Willette contributed their time and talents for the cause.
"As we all know, there's so many animals out there that are either abandoned or left out, so you know if we can get the word out that to spay and neuter your animals, there will be less volume out there being abused and left on roadsides," said volunteer Kammy Roberts.
The Delta County Animal Society is a non-profit volunteer group. They plan to organize the event again next year.
