ISHPEMING -- The kits, including energy-saving light bulbs, high efficiency shower heads, and faucet aerators, can reduce water heating costs by as much as 45%.

Representatives will be handing out these free kits Monday, November first, at the Ishpeming Negaunee Chamber of Commerce and U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame.

The events will run from two until seven p.m.

You're asked to bring a copy of your utility bill and or a valid Michigan ID.

There are no sales gimmicks as these are state mandated energy conservation programs.
