ISHPEMING -- There's a short update on power outages throughout the U.P.  UPPCO continues its efforts to restore power to all homes and businesses affected by the storm earlier this week.

As of late Friday afternoon, about 700 customers in the Ishpeming area remained without power.

All other UPPCO customers have had their power restored.  For the most current information on the number of outages go to the UPPCO website and access the "View Current Electric Outages" section.
