MARQUETTE -- The YMCA of Marquette County is holding its fourth annual Tailgate Party Friday.

The purpose of the party is to raise money for the YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign.

Along with food and a cash bar, they will also be holding a silent auction with items donated by local businesses.

Tickets to the party cost $20 and include dinner and a ticket to the NMU vs. Ohio State hockey game.  All proceeds from tickets and auctions go to the Strong Kids Campaign.

"So there's a lot of folks in our community who need the support to enable their children to be part of activities like the YMCA offers, and that's what our Strong Kids Campaign is for," said Lisa Coombs-Gerou, CEO of YMCA Marquette County.

The Tailgate Party starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs until the hockey game at 7:30 p.m.  You can purchase tickets at the front office of the YMCA in Marquette.
