East Kingsford Fire not suspicious

BREITUNG TOWNSHIP -- A fire that burned late into the night in East Kingsford last week is no longer being investigated by authorities.

The Breitung Township Fire Department says they don't believe foul play was a factor in the scrap metal fire at Schneider's Iron and Metal.

The fire could be seen from more than a mile away, but nobody was injured and no structures were damaged.

Schneider's insurance company is currently assessing the damages.
