Police seize drugs, cash and weapons
MASS CITY -- The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team says it has uncovered a large scale drug trafficking operation between Lower Michigan and the western U.P.
The investigation originated in Shiawassee County and led to drug busts in Mass City in Ontonagon County and Tapiola in Houghton County.
Police seized marijuana, cocaine, cash, scales and approximately 40 illegally possessed firearms.
The investigation continues, and numerous charges are pending against the suspects.
