Salon 323 in Iron Mountain is offering pink hair extensions to interested customers
IRON MOUNTAIN -- Pink hair is starting to become a more common sight in Iron Mountain, but it is being done for a good cause.
Salon 323 in Iron Mountain is putting in pink hair extensions to interested customers in honor of breast cancer awareness month. A five dollar donation gets you two pink extensions.
So far the salon has raised $400 in just one week of the program and will donate the money locally to help with breast cancer research.
“It's a great thing because people see the extensions out and about, and they'll ask what's with all the pink hair? What's going on in Iron Mountain? How come everyone has pink hair,” said Salon 323 owner Debbie Mckinzie.
Salon 323 will continue putting in the pink hair extensions through October.
