DeVos Art Museum display
MARQUETTE -- The DeVos Art Museum on the campus of NMU is featuring a new exhibit that blends elements of everyday life and fantasy.
It's called "A Unicorn Basking in the Light of Three Glowing Suns" and features artists from all around the world and all forms of media.
The exhibit showcases many different ideas of fantasy with some of the pieces taking a political tone.
The museum director says although some of the works may look strange at first, the ideas behind them represent all walks of life.
"If you just look at it as the fact that we all have these day-to-day lives, and we all get caught up in things we just have to do. But really, we've all got fantasies and we've all got these dreams and you can just have fun with it," said the museum director.
The exhibit runs through November 14.
