Strong business in the fall
MUNISING -- Some cooler weather isn't slowing down Pictured Rocks Cruises in Munising, and in fact, boat captains say that their business hasn't slowed at all since the summer months this year.
Lake Superior may be a bit more choppy with fall's north winds, but people still came out to see the fall colors, which peaks longer along the shoreline.
Pictured Rocks Cruises say this is one of their most successful fall seasons.
"Last Saturday, we had about 400 people on the 2 p.m. and another 350 people on the 5 p.m. that day, so a day like that in October is really rare...," said Captain Jaden Niemi.
This upcoming weekend is the last weekend to take the cruise. For schedule information, go to the Pictured Rocks Cruise's website.
