MARQUETTE -- Northern Michigan University fans had the chance to ride with other Wildcat fans to the big hockey game Tuesday against Michigan Tech University.

The bus picked people up at the Berry Events Center parking lot at NMU and made additional stops in Negaunee and Ishpeming on their way to Houghton.

The Fan Bus also stopped for dinner on the way to Houghton.  The event was sponsored by 100.3 The Point and Checker Cab of Marquette.

"Just to support the Wildcats--we broadcast the games on 100.3 The Point--and we just want to do everything we can to make sure the fans are involved and to make sure the Wildcats get the support they need," said Ken Smith from 100.3 The Point.

The $30 ticket includes a ticket to the game and bus fare.

For more information on how you can get on the next Fan Bus, head to the 100.3 The Point Website.
