SANDS TOWNSHIP -- Big Brothers and Big Sisters was in Harvey Saturday afternoon helping kids make the most of it.

Close to 100 people showed up to Teaching Family Home's third annual Harvest Fest.

There was plenty of pumpkin painting, barbequing, games and hay rides.  The event was free to home residents and the entire community.

"We try to do what we can to get to have our kids out in the community and this is an event where people can come out and interact together and have a great afternoon," said Teaching Family Homes Facility Manager, Mike Smith.

Pumpkins were generously donated for the event by local farms.
