IAHPEMING -- With winter just around the corner, one Ishpeming church is making sure area kids who need a coat have one.
Wednesday, volunteers met at the Wesley United Methodist Church to distribute collection bags around the Ishpeming area.
Residents are asked to donate new or gently used jackets, snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots.
The bags will then be placed on the curb to be picked up on October 16.
Finally, the clothes will be distributed to those in need on October 23.
