MARQUETTE -- The Brantley Drop-In Center is a place most of us don't know about, but for those who do, it's a life saver.

The center celebrated its 10th anniversary with a party for current and former members, along with the public.

The celebration featured live music and food.

The Brantley Center is funded by Pathways, which is a state-funded program.  Its focus is on those with mental illness and provides them with support, such as activities and a food pantry.

"It's kind of like grandma's house where you can just go in and drop in and have a cup of coffee, find a friend and be a friend," said Center Director, Colleen Jokinen.

If you're interested in utilizing the services of the Brantley Center or would like to help out, organizers say to stop in anytime.  It's located at 401 West Baraga Avenue in Marquette.
