MARQUETTE -- Marquette's Eastside Originals Food & Wine Fest takes place Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Marquette Commons.

The public is invited to experience the culinary diversity of Marquette with a selection of wine, hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment.

Over 20 local restaurants are participating, and it's for a good cause.  The event is a fund-raiser to benefit the Marquette County YMCA, U.P. Children's Museum, and Marquette County History Museum.

"It's just a reason to bring the community together," said Michelle Cook of the Landmark Inn.  "We wish to create awareness in regards to the wonderful options we have downtown for guests to enjoy as well as benefiting and supporting our local community."

You can purchase tickets for $25 at the Landmark Inn, any participating restaurant, or at the event itself.
