Farmers market days extended

MANISTIQUE -- You still have one more chance to fill up on locally grown produce from the farmer's market in Manistique.

The market will be open from 4 until 6 p.m. next Wednesday.

It's located at the Little Bear West Arena.

The Sault Tribe and the City of Manistique decided to continue the market for an additional few weeks because it's been such a success.

The market averages between 200 and 300 visitors each week.
