Former corrections officer will be sentenced next month.
ESCANABA -- A former Delta County Corrections Officer facing several charges of dealing with child pornography has made a plea deal with prosecutors.
William Johnson has agreed to plead guilty to "attempted" possession of of child porn, and to using a computer to commit a crime.
In exchange for the plea, the charge of possession of child porn, and a second charge of using a computer to commit a crime were dropped against Johnson.
He'll be sentenced on October 27th.
