Shoplifting was another charge for one of them

HOUGHTON -- The two teens accused of stealing prescription drugs from a Hancock apartment were arraigned in Houghton County District Court Monday.

Nineteen-year-old Stephanie Grace Coon of Hancock and 17-year-old Logan Michael Cherubini are charged with second degree home invasion and delivering the controlled substance dexedrine, both felonies.

Coon was also arraigned on unrelated misdemeanor charges for allegedly stealing two bottles of alcohol from Pat's Foods on August 10.  She pled guilty and will serve jail time while awaiting further proceedings.

Both teens are due back in court on August 23 for a preliminary exam.

If convicted, they face up to 15 years in prison.
