Could go to a recount

MICHIGAN 1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT -- We're still waiting to find out who won the Republican primary in the 1st Congressional District.  Both Dan Benishek and Jason Allen declared themselves the winner following the election.

Last Wednesday, the state's unofficial results had Benishek ahead by only one vote.  Now with all 31 counties certifying their results, that number has grown to a 15 vote margin in favor of Benishek.

The reason for the change comes from the canvassing each county automatically does after an election which is different than a recount.

Those counties then turn their final numbers in to the state which is expected to make the election results official Friday.

The candidates will have 48 hours to ask for a recount.
