BESSEMER TOWNSHIP -- The investigation into the death of 54-year-old murder suspect Steven Dianich appears to be coming to an end.

Police recovered the body of Dianich Thursday afternoon behind Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bessemer Township.

Police received a tip from a Ramsay citizen about a strong odor coming from the woods.  The body was found in dense foliage 300 yards away from the crime scene.

Police also found Dianich's gun near the body.

Dianich is suspected of killing 46-year-old Scott Udd and 52-year-old Jon Lund early Saturday morning.

An autopsy is being conducted Friday to determine cause of death, time of death, and officially identify the body.
