ESCANABA -- Despite some rain, the $1.8 million Stephenson Ave. project, which started earlier this week, is running right on schedule.

The project will be done in three phases.  The first phase of construction currently runs from Ludington St. to 3rd Ave. North.  Citizens can expect street, gutter, curb, and storm sewer improvements.

The detour around construction continues to be North Lincoln Road, however, there will be access to all businesses within the construction zone.

This phase is expected to be completed within the month.
