Twenty-five years old
MARQUETTE -- The 25th Annual International Food Festival wrapped up in Marquette Sunday.
The event featured several area vendors with at least seven different kinds of food. There were also plenty of games for kids as well as live entertainment.
The festival ran through the weekend, and organizers say the event is important for the community.
"Twenty years ago in Marquette, there was nothing going on in Marquette at all. There wasn't a parade or fireworks or food fest. The Exchange Club started those three, and it does so much and now they're in Marquette and they gather in Marquette," said Marquette Exchange Club President, John Baldwin.
All of the money donated during the event will be distributed among 26 local organizations.
