This year's theme was High Seas Expedition
MARQUETTE -- Kids at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marquette have been sailing the high seas this week.
That was the theme of this year's Vacation Bible School. Kids of all ages, from preschool to upper elementary school levels, have spent the mornings doing crafts, playing games, and learning about God. The camp has been going on for more than 30 years, and organizers say it's a lot of work, but very rewarding.
"Seeing the kids at this camp are the smiles, are the hugs, are the crew leaders, our middle school and high school kids that work with that. That for me is the most special thing in the world," describes Pastor Paul Weber.
The camp wrapped up Friday with more than 400 kids attending this week.
