A-positive, O-positive, O-negative and A-negative blood types
MARQUETTE -- The U.P. Regional Blood Center in Marquette is experiencing a critical need for A-positive, O-positive, O-negative and A-negative blood types.
On Thursday the Blood Center is hosting a "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Blood Donors Drive” until 6 p.m. No appointments are necessary.
Everyone who donates will receive a free patriotic t-shirt. There are also subs, chips, pop and cake, and a chance to win one of eight $20 gas cards.
If you have not donated in the past eight weeks, please consider another donation. For all the people who have never donated, please consider giving the "gift of life."
Remember, "Every drop counts." The Marquette Blood Center is located at 437 W. College Avenue, adjacent to Marquette General Hospital.
