Food and family was the ticket at Bonanza
MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- Well, hopefully you all were lucky enough to spend time with your dads Sunday.
Some families honored their dads by taking them to brunch at Bonanza Steakhouse in Marquette. Managers at Bonanza say they offered a new steak promotion this year, which may have been the reason for the crowd at lunchtime.
"We're going to hang out at the house, have a little snack here and there, and just enjoy each other," said celebrating father, Francis Sevegney.
"We had a line at the door as soon as we opened, and like I said, we've got a lot of extra crew to help take care of all the customers, and it brought a lot of great customers in...a lot of people we haven't seen for a long time, too, so that's nice," said Bonanza Manager, Mike McKeen.
Bonanza also offered chocolate-covered strawberries as a special treat for all dads and granddads.
