Supports Child and Family Services
MARQUETTE -- Are you looking for a fun summer activity the family can enjoy?
This weekend, the Family Fun Carnival will be coming to town with activities for all ages, and proceeds will support the Child and Family Services Center of the U.P.
Admission is $5 for families of three or less and $10 for families of four or more.
Participants will be challenged to test their skills at ring toss. And for the younger children, a duck pond will feature rubber duckies to be turned in for prizes.
"We have tons of prizes; we'll have a silent auction, too, for adults. We've got a lot of support from community members; business...they've donated a lot of prizes. It should be a blast! I'm really excited for it," said Bobbie Nease of Child and Family Services.
One more reason to show up--there's a good chance TV6's Greg Trick will get a pie in the face as part of the fund-raiser.
The Family Fun Carnival will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Marquette's Mattson Lower Harbor Park.
