The contest to help brand Calumet is open to everyone
CALUMET -- Main Street Calumet is asking for your help to design a logo and develop a slogan for the village.
Tom Tikkanen says the contest to help brand Calumet is open to everyone. Judges will be looking for an image and phrase that captures the village's mix of culture, history, and natural beauty.
People can submit their ideas for either one or both brand elements, but all entries must be received by September 30.
"We're going to get a lot of submissions, and we are really excited about it. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be a big task for the panel of judges, but one they're looking forward to," said Tom Tikkanen, Executive Director, Main Street Calumet.
The winning logo and slogan will be announced on October 16. The creator of each will receive a $100 prize.
