John Alfred Mapstone was supposed to be back Friday at 8:30 p.m.
Officials from the Gogebic County Sheriff's Department are looking for an inmate who did not return from day parole.
Thirty-two-year-old John Alfred Mapstone was supposed to be back Friday at 8:30 p.m.
He was last seen wearing white shorts and a white t-shirt, carrying a bag with blue jeans and a blue button-up shirt with paint on it.
Mapstone was last seen in Ironwood Township at approximately 5 p.m. Friday. He's a white male who weighs 190 pounds, 5' 9'' tall, with red/blond hair and blue eyes.
Mapstone was serving a sentence for assault charges.
