The 5 a.m. crash sent the truck's driver and two train conductors to a local hospital
DETROIT (AP) -- Three people are being treated for minor injuries after a tractor-trailer and train collided at a crossing on Detroit's southwest side.
WDIV-TV reports Friday that the 5 a.m. crash sent the truck's driver and two train conductors to a local hospital.
The train was hauling 35 rail cars and carrying more than 3,000 gallons of fuel.
WJBK-TV reports that the truck driver was making deliveries at the time of the crash. The driver says he did not see any warning lights.
The impact tilted the train onto its side and heavily damaged the truck.
