A plea deal was entered in the case against a former Lakestate Industries employee charged with embezzling from the non-profit agency.

Fifty-five-year-old Janet Bussineau entered a no contest plea to the charge of embezzlement by an agent or trustee of $1,000 or more, but less than $20,000.

In exchange, a second charge against her was dropped.  Also, both sides agreed to a sentencing contract of three months in the county jail.

Bussineau's formal sentencing is set for June 28.
