ESCANABA -- Restaurant owners from all across the U.P. got a taste of the latest trends in the food service industry.

Reinhart Food Service hosted their bi-annual food show Wednesday for vendors to show off the latest products.  More than 500 guests enjoyed numerous samples from more than 250 vendors.

The show isn't open to the public and is targeted toward businesses with food service.

"Customers are always looking for new ideas, new concepts, new products.  Our business changes daily, weekly, and they try to stay with the trends, and by coming to food shows, they pick up new ideas and concepts," said Michael Van Rite, General Manager.

The next food show will be hosted in the fall at the state fair grounds in Escanaba.
