Weather is believed to be a factor in the crash
MARINETTE, WI -- Two people are dead following a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of US-141 and State Hwy. 64 in the town of Pound in Marinette County.
A pickup truck driven by 21-year-old Jessica Lee of Green Bay was northbound on US-141, approaching the intersection, when 72-year-old Frank Kotecki proceeded through the intersection and was struck by the northbound vehicle.
Both the driver and his passenger, 91-year-old Irene Kotecki, both of Marinette, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Lee and her passenger sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is continuing, but weather is believed to be a factor in the crash.
