Thirteen-year-old girl from Rock was driving the ORV when she lost control on a curve and hit a tree

MASONVILLE TOWNSHIP -- Three teens are recovering after an ORV accident in Delta County.  According to the Michigan State Police in Gladstone, it happened Sunday afternoon in Masonville Township.

A 13-year-old girl from Rock was driving the ORV when she lost control on a curve and hit a tree.  She, along with her two 14-year-old passengers, were hurt.  None of them were wearing helmets.

The passengers were treated and released from St. Francis Hospital.  The driver was taken to Marquette General for observation.

The crash remains under investigation; speed is listed as a factor.
