Here's what we're covering for tonight's newscasts.

Congressman Bart Stupak has announced he's retiring.  Kelly Gibbs will have that story on the Early News.

The Tea Party Express is in the U.P.  Beth Jones and Aaron Martin are both covering the event.  You'll see their stories on the Early News and TV6 News Tonight.

Michigan Tech is announcing how many students have been accepted for the fall semester.  More or fewer?  Are the standards higher of lower?  That story on TV6 News Tonight.

NMU President Les Wong said earlier this week he wanted to cut out some programs and add others.  Natalie Jovonovich will have more details on the Early News.
