Ramada Inn saw 67 more people than last year
MARQUETTE -- For many celebrating Easter means enjoying a meal with family and friends. That's what many did at the Ramada Inn on Sunday, enjoying their Easter brunch buffet with extended family.
Staff say reservations were up this year to 617 people, from 550 last year.
And with carved roast beef, baked ham and fire roasted tomato pasta, there was enough food for everyone.
"Easter is such a joyful celebration," said Marquette resident Helen McCormick. "We've all been to church. Now we're going to fill our bodies with food now that we've filled our spirits with joy from the Easter services."
The Ramada took a few walk-ins during brunch from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., but were mostly full from reservations.
