MARQUETTE -- Members of the Vertigo Theater Company put on a puppet show to the tale of 'The Emperor's New Clothes' at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette Saturday.

This was the first performance for the Once Upon a Time Puppet Theater, which is made possible through a grant from the Michigan Center for Books.

The event encouraged parents to read to their children.

Through June, there will be two shows at the library every month featuring several different fairy tales.
