City manager candidate withdraws

The City Manager job has been narrowed down to two candidates.

MARQUETTE -- One of the three finalists for the Marquette City Manager job has withdrawn from consideration.

John McIntyre of Orland Hills, IL will not pursue the job due to personal reasons.

That leaves William Vajda of Rockville, MD and Donald Carlsen of Naperville, IL.

The City Commission will interview the two remaining candidates on Tuesday.
