Michigan has had at least a share of the nation's highest jobless rate

The state's unemployment rate for January was 14.3 percent.

The national unemployment rate for February was 9.7 percent, unchanged from January.

Michigan has had at least a share of the nation's highest jobless rate for four consecutive years.
