President Obama signs the $938 billion health care reform bill into law. Tonight, on your TV6 Early News, the historic event and those who are fighting the new law.

The new health care bill will change a number of things as it's put into effect.  One thing, some 32 million people currently uninsured will get insurance . Tonight on your TV6 Early News, reporter Natalie Jovonovich talks with the CEO of Marquette General Health System about the impact the legislation will have on their operations and also what it means to the Medical Care Access Coalitions in the U.P. that help those who fall through the cracks.

Northern Michigan University is suspending its LPN program. Tonight, TV6's Jeni Jewell reports on what this means for students and why the university is making cuts in the nursing program. That's tonight on your TV6 Early News.
