This is the center's 17th annual Youth Arts Month
HANCOCK -- March is the month for young artists to shine at the Copper Country Community Arts Center in Hancock.
Throughout March both galleries are full of collages, paintings and powerful sketches--all the more impressive because they're done by local students.
Visitors can view more than 150 pieces created by kids in grades K-12 at eight area schools.
"We love showcasing youth art. It's very inspiring, it's uplifting, but this month is also celebrating the important work that art teachers do in our public schools," said Cynthia Cote, Executive Director.
This is the center's 17th annual Youth Arts Month.
The art will be on display Through March 27.
