Lahti kicks off candidacy

He'll be making a whirlwind tour of the district starting in Houghton at 8:30 a.m.

HOUGHTON -- State Representative Mike Lahti from Hancock officially kicks off his candidacy for the 38th District State Senate seat Friday.

He'll be making a whirlwind tour of the district starting in Houghton at 8:30 a.m. and finishing in Bessemer at 4:30 pm.

Lahti, a democrat, has served in the house for four years.

He's seeking to replace State Senator Mike Prusi, who is term-limited.
